Croydon School Sport Partnerships (Croydon SSP) provide expertise across the full spectrum of physical education, school sport and physical activity within the London Borough of Croydon. We strive towards our greater vision of promoting healthy, active lifestyles and using sport and PE to support whole child development, academic attainment and achievement, ultimately leading to whole school improvement, lifelong health and wellbeing.
We are a team of passionate and committed educational and sports development specialists. Proud to be commissioned to deliver the three School Games Organiser roles in Croydon, we are also the lead organisation in South London for leadership, coaching and volunteering, as well as health and wellbeing.


Maddy was the first ever female apprentice @skysports and has been shortlisted twice for the Sports Journalism Awards 'Ones To Watch-Off Air'. Her education in Sutton ignited her passion for sport and by harnessing an array of opportunities, such as gaining her football referees qualification, she developed a host of valuable skills that have enabled her to excel within sports broadcasting. We are very excited to share more of her journey with you at our Primary PE conference. ' - .

There was technical prowess on display at the KS3 and KS4 boys badminton competition. This Croydon round of the National schools badminton championships saw @whitgiftsport come out as Champions for both events. Congratulations to @trinitycroydonsport for finishing in second place for KS4. Huge thanks @riddlesdownsport for hosting and to the leaders for your assistance

Alex is part of Nike's first hybrid racing team 'The Unbeatable Crew". She has achieved multiple Hyrox podium finishes and this month achieved a World Record in Women's Team Relay at Hyrox ExCel. But her journey started as a junior athlete who found great success in 400m hurdles after switching events. When Alex retired from athletics she never dreamed of the possibility of forging a new career as a professional hybrid athlete. And yet, with an open mind, Alex has made that transition....and this is just the beginning!
