Croydon 2016 T-Shirt Design Competition Winners!

Well done to our joint winners who's designs will be on the t-shirts worn by Croydon athletes, coaches and team managers representing our borough in the 2016 London Youth Games and School Games competitions!

Thank you and congratulations on the amazing images we received for the t-shirt design competition this year. Well done to all the pupils who took part, we had over 600 entries from 13 schools across the Borough!


Equal 1st Place - Jasmine BK (St James The Geat) and Sophie C (Woodcote High)

These designs will be used on all the t-shirts for this year's series of events and will include their names on the arm to acknowledge that it was their design. They will also receive a London Youth Games t-shirt for themselves as well as a variety of art equipment and a certificate. 

2nd Place - Charlie C (Woodcote High)

3rd Place – Hsiadan G (St Johns Primary)

Awarded a certificate and art supplies

Highly Commended

We are also awarding certificates to to the following pupils for their designs:

Sadie D – St James The Great
Adam N – St James The Great


Addtionally, the following children will receive a certificate for creativity: Jazmin P and Jamal K from Woodside Primary, and Shenero R from Oasis Academy Ryelands. 


Thanks to everyone who submitted entries including Oasis Academy Ryelands, St Joseph's Junior, Winterbourne Junior Girls, Cypress Primary, St James The Great, Downsview Primary, St Johns Primary, Woodside Primary, St Cyprians Primary Academy, St Thomas Becket, St Peters Primary, Woodcote High School and Norbury Manor Business and Enterprise College.

We are looking forward to receiving even more entries next year.
