St. Andrew’s High School sports leaders assisted with running the Parish Church Junior School X-Country Competition at Duppas Hill Park. The event attracted over 500 students in total. The sports leaders were responsible for
Nine Sporstsleaders from Archbishop Lanfranc came to Gonville Academy to conduct a coaching session for the teams and organise and run the competition. The girls experienced 6 different football activities, covering heading through to goal shooting.
A new Rugby League project called Freesport has been introduced to Croydon aimed at inactive young people who have not played rugby before. A series of sessions have been delivered across the borough by inspirational coaches from South London Community Rugby League.
On Tuesday 6th November four teams from Gonville and St. Mary's competed on the Lanfranc 3G astro pitch. Six 5-a- side matches were played and lots of goals scored.
